Login and Getting Started

• Bottom left button (with pen and paper logo [引継ぎ]) to transfer devices (requires ID and password from settings).
• Server transfer does not work(?).
• Upon first run (and after maintenance), update the voice pack in settings.
• Spend your Room Coins on the initial room expansion (best mood/price gain!)

Main Screen

• Characters with Live 2D portraits: Laffy, Javelin, Ayanami (the three starter ships). Z23, Akashi.
• Chat channel can be changed. (And used in battle - turn on auto mode)

• [?] points on the map may give 1 ammo, money, a loot box or a repair item (lasts for the duration of the map).
• Objectives to 100% clear a map are generally:
  • ★ Destroy the boss.
  • ★ Destroy a given number of fleets (e.g.: 0/12)
  • ★ Clear the map of all enemies.
  • Some maps may need to be cleared multiple times to increase the % counter.
• Random Encounters
  • May occur when the threat level changes from green to red while moving.
  • Encounters may either be a battle or air raid (all ships take a small amount of damage).
  • Click [迎撃] to fight or [回避] to attempt to evade (Encounter drops are poor.).
  • An SG radar equipped by any ship in the fleet can reduce encounters and increase chances of evading them.
• Formations can be set to:
  • Single line - Firepower and torpedoes +15%, Evasion -10%
  • Double line - Evasion +30%, Firepower and torpedoes -5%
  • Cross - Anti-air +20%
• Ammo affects damage:
  • 4-5 - 110% ("plenty" icon appears)
  • 1-3 - 100%
  • 0 - 50% ("empty" icon appears)
• Experience point multipliers
  • PVE and PVP: Flagship x1.5, MVP x2, Sparkling morale 1.2x. A Rank x1, S Rank x1.2.
  • Storyline-only: Small Enemy x1, Medium Enemy x1.1, Large Enemy x1.2, Boss x1.5

  • Lv.1-10 (1-4)
  • Lv.10-25 (2-1/2-2)

  • 3-4 is commonly run for Akagi and Kaga drops.
  • Lv.75-80 (4-4)

  • Chapter 5 is where useful equipment blueprints are found.
  • Lv.90-94 (6-1/6-2/6-3)
  • Lv.95-100 (6-4)
• The battle fails when your flagship is knocked out.

Hard Mode

• Ship modification materials and blueprints for rare equipment can be found here.
• Each area drops a specific modification mat: _-1: Destroyer, _-2: Cruiser, _-3: Battleship, _-4: Carrier
• Up to 6 attempts per day.

Daily Raid

• Torpedo Dodging - Monday/Thursday/Sunday. Blue panel. Equipment upgrade mats.
  • Equipment upgrade mats rewarded by type chosen: (水上) = gun, torpedo, equip. (航空) = planes, AA, equip.
  • Ships in the rear don't take damage. Risk-free levelling (at the cost of fuel).
  • Lv35 is the easiest since the shots are in a straight line.
  • Spread-shot torpedo stages (Lv50) are best run using a single ship equipped with repair and a torpedo bulge.
• Kamikaze Boats - Tuesday/Friday/Sunday. Green panel. Skillbooks. (Ramming is a valid tactic.)
• Boss Battle - Wednesday/Saturday/Sunday. 3 waves. Red panel. Loot boxes.

Expeditions [Commission]

• Ships sent are locked for the duration (unless cancelled) and cannot be used or upgraded.
• Expeditions cannot fail.
• Daily expeditions reset at midnight Japan time.
• Up to 4 "emergency" (time limited) items may appear after 0500 Japan time.
• Long, 5-8 hour emergency items appear at 1100-0300 (bedtime).

PVP [Exercise]

• Any ship, even ones on expedition or in battle, can be used for the defence fleet.
• Wins and losses in PVP will not affect the opponent in any way.
• Therefore, please use low levelled ships or a solo Bulin for the defence fleet.
• Experience earned depends on the level of the opponent.
• The opponent list may be reshuffled up to 3 times a day.
• 5 tries are added at 0000, 1200 and 1800 Japan time (for a total of 15 tries per day).
• Pausing and quitting the battle will allow you to retry (pause, then click the grey button on both prompts).
• PVP points are awarded for winning and losing (halved). Can be exchanged for rare ships and items [Supply].

• Details
  • The [Clear All] button has been replaced with Save/Load Equipment Set.
  • The new Save/Load Equipment menu has [Save] on the left, [Load] on the right and [Clear Current Equips] at the bottom.
  • Ship Affection
    • All ships start at 50 points.
    • Affection is increased by
      • setting as secretary (1pt every 5 hours, max 90)
      • clicking random heart popups in the Backyard (a fraction of a point)
      • winning battles with S rank (0.06pt per battle, MVP 0.12pt)
    • It is decreased upon failing missions (D rank) and sortieing with red morale (sad face).
    • Affection level of Friendly and above gives a status bonus:
      • Despair (0-30)
      • Normal (31-60)
      • Friendly (61-80) +1%
      • Like (81-99) +3%
      • Love (100) +6%
      • Married (101-199) +9%
      • Married (200) +12%
  • Modification
    • Tech tree style upgrades that requires modification mats (from rewards or Hard Mode).
    • Unlocks skills on some ships.
    • The final upgrade will add an outfit.
    • Available only for:
      • 17/09/14 - Hammann, Bogue, Langley, Fortune, Suffolk.
      • 17/09/21 - Cygnet, Ranger.
      • 17/09/28 - Shouhou.
      • 17/10/12 - Leander, Ajax, Long Island.
      • 17/10/19 - Abukuma.
      • 17/10/27 - Yamashiro, Javelin.
      • 17/11/09 - Furutaka, Kako, Portland.
  • Strengthen/Reinforce
    • 
    • Use ships as mats to increase exp for stats. The maximum upgradable value is written on bar (e.g.: "MAX 123")
    • Using copies of the same ship as material will give double stats (Please save for limit break or medal exchange, if rare.).
    • Different ship classes give different stats. Only carriers have the air stat.
  • Limit Break
    • Increases level cap, stats and fuel consumption, and unlocks skills and abilities (may add a special attack).
    • Requires same ship or Universal Bulins of the same rarity. Senior unlock requires two ships.

• Equipment stats may increase when equipped by ships of the same country as the item.
• Only unequipped items are displayed here. To upgrade equipped items, use the dockyard.
• Materials tab: five T1/T2 loot boxes can be combined into one of a higher tier.

Planes

• Carriers can carry three types of planes: Fighters (戦闘機), Bombers (爆撃機), Attack/Torpedo Bombers (攻撃機)
• Each carrier has its own unique configuration, some may sacrifice a slot for a gun emplacement.
• All planes do anti-air damage depending on equipped guns. Some fighters may carry bombs.
• Torpedoes from Attack planes are released either in a straight line (汎用) (American and British) or targeted (重桜) (Japanese).

Special Equipment

• Drops from sorties are usually blueprints - several are needed to build an item.
• To view collected blueprints, access Equipment from the main menu.

Backyard

• Backyard
  • Room/Furniture Coins
  • Ships placed here passively gain affection and experience, replenish morale. Requires food.
  • Starts with 2 ship slots. Max 5 slots (click a locked slot to buy. 300/500/800 diamonds $).
  • Exp gain increases with room mood (smiley face top right).
  • Buy furniture with Room Coins (gold coin with a house logo) to increase mood.
  • Expansion & Second Floor
    • To increase the room size, click on the construction sign. This will cost 100/500/1000 room coins.
    • The second floor (2F) can be bought with diamonds when you have maxed out expansion. $
    • Characters placed in 2F do not gain experience, only morale.
  • Food
    • Bar along the bottom shows food level and time remaining. Click to resupply.
    • Button on right of bar on food menu is to increase max capacity. $
    • Click (+) to add or buy food items (uses fuel).
    • The 5000 food item (curry) gives a +5% exp bonus!
    • "Royal Gourmet" (fish pie) and "Full Course" (roast admiral) gives a 10%/180min and 20%/360min bonus $.
  • Furniture
    • Click on the round button with chair and arrow to edit the room.
    • Furniture categories in tabs. Buttons on top right are (clear) (save) (shop).
    • Mood is calculated using the placable number of top purchased items in each categories (furniture, top 4 mats from furniture, misc, wall decor, collection).

Academy

• The Canteen and Academy Shop (bottom), Training Room (top) and School Store (right) can be found here.
• Canteen/Academy Shop
  • Supplies hourly resources. Can be upgraded every 10 player levels.
• Tactics Classroom [Tactics]
  • Increase experience points for skills to level them up. Requires skillbooks and time.
  • Levels 2-10 exp. requirements (100/200/400/800/1400/2200/3200/4400/5800)
• School Store [Supplies]
  • Loot boxes, materials, cubes, drills, skillbooks and even red diamond food items can be bought with money.
  • Items are randomly given discounts up to 90%.
  • The shop inventory refreshes at 0000, 1200, 1800 Japan time.
  • Beware of items priced in red diamonds sneakily thrown into the mix! $

Building

• Cubes are relatively easy to get! (Easily 4-6 a day from daily tasks and expeditions.)
• Certain ships are only available from Building and Medal Exchange.
• Retiring rare ships and above will yield medals (1/4/10).
• Only one SS rare can be exchanged per update.

• Diamond Shop $
  • The "cash shop".
  • 100 red diamonds = 200 yen (normal price).
  • [Cloth]: Character outfits are seasonal and may change with updates.
  • [Diamond]: Red diamond refills require G**gle Play. Payment can be made with credit card.
  • Red diamonds are rewarded for clearing storyline missions.
  • [Gift]: Starter packs containing materials can be bought here. (They are not gifts.)
  • [Item]: Dock expansion (ドック拡張) costs 200 diamonds for 10 ship slots.
• Marriage $
  • A wedding ring is required from the shop. Costs 600 diamonds.
  • Increases the base 6% affection bonus to 12%.
  • Character card changes to white with gold trim.
  • Marriage will unlock an outfit for certain characters (Refer to wiki).
  • Furniture from Akashi after a certain number of marriages (3/5/7: clothes rack/shrine/maple sliding door)
